MARGUERITE ETHIER is counsel at Lenczner Slaght.

Marguerite's litigation practice focuses particularly on intellectual property.  In patent matters, she has acted in many art fields including biotech, pharmaceuticals and biologics, nutraceuticals, medical devices, oil and gas, software and mechanical engineering.  In copyright, Marguerite has represented clients as diverse as painters, search engines and industry associations. 

She is an active member of the Bar of California and has litigated cases in both Canada and the U.S.  Additionally, she has acted as general counsel for pharmaceutical and medical device companies. 

Marguerite has appeared in all levels of Ontario and Federal Court, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. In addition to being a registered Canadian patent agent and trade-mark agent, she is also an accredited U.S. patent attorney.
