MARIAM MOKTAR is a lawyer at Lenczner Slaght.

Mariam has a developing practice encompassing a range of civil litigation areas.

Prior to joining the firm, Mariam practiced at another leading Canadian law firm where she gained extensive experience in the areas of civil litigation, employment law, administrative law and class actions.

Mariam clerked for various judges of the Superior Court of Justice of the Central West Region. As a clerk, she co-authored a paper with the Honourable Mr. Justice Coroza. During her articling year, Mariam worked closely with counsel on a high profile application concerning a senior politician at the Superior Court of Justice.

While at law school, Mariam was a Team Leader at the University of Windsor Mediation Services clinic and volunteered as a case worker at the Community Legal Aid clinic. In addition, she worked as a summer law student at the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee.
