Another Rising Star at Lenczner Slaght

Matthew Sammon is recognized as one of Canada's Leading Lawyers Under 40.

A highly regarded trial lawyer and partner at Lenczner Slaght, Canada's leading litigation practice, has been honoured in the annual Lexpert Rising Stars awards for emerging leaders in the legal profession. Matthew Sammon is one of a handful of lawyers under 40 to be recognized for their achievements at a gala presentation in Toronto on Monday, November 4, 2013.

"The Lexpert judging panel focused on Matthew's legal expertise, courtroom skills and wealth of experience," said Peter Griffin, managing partner of Lenczner Slaght. "Those who have the good fortune to work with him could not agree more – we continue to be impressed by his advocacy skill and business acumen, and by the command he brings to each file. Matthew is widely admired by his peers. We are proud to have him at Lenczner Slaght."

Called to the Ontario bar in 2002, Matthew represents clients in a broad range of complex corporate and commercial matters, as well as professional liability, medical malpractice and employment cases. He joins Lenczner Slaght partners Monique Jilesen (2012), Mark Veneziano (2009), and Peter Osborne (2002) in the select group of Canadian lawyers singled out for recognition as Lexpert Rising Stars.
