Emma Williams listen


Emma* is an articling student at Lenczner Slaght. She is a graduate of Western Law, where she delighted in her coursework and all things related to public law. Emma’s love for philosophy led her to pursue a career in advocacy. As a result, Emma thinks§ rigorously and creatively about the causes of a complex problem to find not any solution, but the right one. While at law school, Emma competed in the 2019 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot and coached the 2020 Jessup Moot team. As a reliable and committed team player, Emma puts in the work and sees it through to the end. She looks forward to further developing her advocacy skills at Lenczner Slaght. .

Emma Williams

is an articling student at Lenczner Slaght.

Emma graduated with distinction from Western Law. While at law school, Emma worked as a research assistant in bankruptcy and insolvency law and legal history. She also served as of counsel at the 2019 Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, coached Western Law’s 2020 Jessup Moot team, and co-chaired the Western Law Advocacy Committee.

Emma has received several academic awards, including course prizes in Constitutional Law, Tort Law, Administrative Law, and Civil Procedure. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Law Society of Upper Canada Prize for academic excellence and the Arthur T. Little Scholarship and Gold Medal.
