Best Wishes, Andrew Porter!

After over a decade at Lenczner Slaght, our Partner, Andrew Porter, has launched his own litigation practice, Porter Litigation, on June 1, 2024.

“We are proud of and excited for Andrew as he embarks on this new journey!” says Managing Partner, Monique Jilesen. “Andrew’s dedication, expertise, and leadership have been invaluable assets to our firm and will serve him well as he launches his own firm. We wish him every success!”

Andrew's trial and appellate practice spans a range of complex commercial litigation and professional liability and regulation matters, including medical negligence actions, contentious shareholder and contractual disputes, injunctions, and complex fraud matters. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, numerous administrative tribunals including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. He is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Osgoode Hall Law School, and has served as the co-leader of Lenczner Slaght’s pro bono program.
