Corey McClary Named LMG Life Sciences Rising Star
We are proud to announce that Corey McClary has been recognized as a Rising Star at the 2026 Life Sciences Americas Awards.
Corey is Counsel at Lenczner Slaght and a key member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. His practice is primarily focused on intellectual property law, with an emphasis on pharmaceutical patent litigation.

Corey has extensive experience advising clients on complex, high-stakes disputes, including actions under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations, patent infringement and impeachment actions, and judicial review proceedings. He also regularly provides strategic patent and regulatory advice. His work with experts and inventors is particularly noteworthy, as he skillfully bridges complex scientific and legal concepts in a comprehensive and understandable manner.
Corey holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry. His graduate research focused on developing methods for the regioselective functionalization of carbohydrates and measuring the strength of non-covalent interactions, and his research has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. His strong scientific credentials, combined with his legal acumen in intellectual property and related regulatory matters, bring exceptional value to our clients.
