Fundamentals of Class Actions Law

Jonathan Chen will share his expertise at the Ontario Bar Association’s Fundamentals of Class Actions Law program, presenting on “Certification: Parts 4-5 of the Certification Test.” He will discuss the preferable procedure requirement in both pre- and post-October 1, 2020 actions, the role of the representative plaintiff and litigation plan, and class counsel conflicts and ethical issues that may arise during the certification process.
