International Recognition for Lenczner Slaght’s Expert IP Team
Canada’s leading litigation firm is delighted to announce that its IP team won three awards at the 2017 LMG Life Sciences Awards, where the preeminent lawyers and law firms in the US and Canada were recognized for their work in the life sciences industry.
The firm was recognized as the “Canadian Patent Contentious Firm of the Year” for its cutting-edge litigation work as well as being named as the “Canadian Firm to Watch”.
Lenczner Slaght partner Melanie Baird was named the “Canadian Rising Star”. Melanie acted as counsel in the first biologic and the first biosimilar drug patent cases in Canada. She has worked extensively with pharmaceutical companies and is intimately familiar with the industry and the business of pharma companies.
