Aaron Grossman’s practice focuses on litigating disputes within the construction, infrastructure, and real estate sectors. With significant expertise as a lawyer and structural engineer, Aaron excels in highly technical cases which require expert evidence. He can speak the same language as engineering and construction professionals allowing for efficient and successful representation of his clients from the outset of a matter through to trial. Aaron’s deep experience in the construction industry allows him to get up to speed quickly and provide timely and practical advice to his clients. He is also highly skilled at developing custom dispute resolution processes to advance his clients’ interests effectively and promptly in various complicated engineering and construction disputes, including by negotiation, mediation, and arbitration.
Martin Brandsma’s practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property litigation and IP strategy including matters relating to patents, copyright, trademarks, trade secrets and industrial designs. He has extensive experience representing a broad range of clients including those in biotechnology, life sciences, consumer goods, technology, telecommunications, sound recording, and collective rights management. He also regularly acts in pharmaceutical patent cases under Canada’s Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations, representing some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, in both the Federal Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal. Marty’s background in molecular biology and genetics gives him an edge in navigating complex subject matter and providing creative and practical solutions to complex legal problems.
