Lenczner Slaght is delighted to announce that Tom Curry, leading trial and appellate partner at Lenczner Slaght, was honoured as a 2014 Lexpert Zenith Award winner at the gala presentation in Toronto on Thursday, October 2, 2014.
Tom has a long record of success in high-profile litigation representing private and public sector clients in class actions, arbitrations, business disputes and administrative law, judicial review, intellectual property and professional liability matters. He appears regularly before all levels of court and tribunals in Ontario. In his highly successful appellate practice, Tom appears before the Courts of Appeal in Ontario, Manitoba, and Alberta, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Paul Pape, founder of Pape Barristers Professional Corporation and nominator of this accolade says that "Tom has become a glittering ornament to our litigation bar and the legal profession…he truly merits this honour".
"This well-deserved award is a testament to Tom's skills as an advocate and reputation in the legal community," said Lenczner Slaght's managing partner Peter Griffin. "When our colleagues at other firms trust their clients to Tom, it is the highest reflection of the respect that he is held in".
