Another Rising Star Recognized at Lenczner Slaght
Eli Lederman is recognized as a leading lawyer under 40.
Lenczner Slaght's Eli Lederman is named a 2014 Lexpert Rising Star. This honour is conferred on lawyers under the age 40 who have an outstanding track record of success in complex matters, are leaders in the community, and contributors to their firms' success.
Called to the bar in 2002, Eli has an extensive commercial litigation practice and has already argued cases before the Supreme Court of Canada. As lead counsel on some of Canada's significant cases, his clients value his excellence in communications and client care.
David Kassie, Chairman of Canaccord Genuity noted in Eli's nomination that "he has a very strong grasp of the corporate environment and with this, effectively distills and communicates the legal issues, arriving at practical solutions to complex legal problems." Onofrio Loduca, CEO of Heritage Education Funds, commented in Eli's nomination, "With Eli you always feel he has your back–he will jump in whenever necessary to ensure you are well positioned. He makes you feel comfortable as a client and you can rest assured he is taking care of your interests."
"We are delighted that Eli has received this well-earned recognition at this stage of his career," said Lenczner Slaght's managing partner Peter Griffin. "We take the development of our lawyers very seriously. Eli demonstrates the stellar results of our concentration on the development of courtroom experienced advocates."
