Lenczner Slaght Welcomes Aoife Quinn and Margaret Robbins to the Partnership
Canada’s leading litigation firm is proud to strengthen its partnership with the addition of Aoife Quinn and Margaret Robbins.
“I am delighted to welcome Aoife and Margaret to our partnership,” says Monique Jilesen, Managing Partner of Lenczner Slaght. “They are both exceptional litigators and colleagues who have the skills, experience, and business acumen to navigate our clients’ most complex legal problems. Our firm is made even stronger with each of them in the partnership.”
Aoife's practice encompasses a broad range of civil litigation, with particular experience in employment disputes, securities class actions and complex real estate litigation. Aoife has represented clients before all levels of Court in Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada, the Ontario Land Tribunal, and other Ontario tribunals. Aoife jumps head-first into a case and effectively delivers results for our clients. While she may act quickly, she always thinks first, critically analyzing a situation from every angle and offering innovative solutions. She is a strategic thinker and a strong advocate. Aoife is also an active participant in the firm’s pro bono and mentorship programs. Aoife regularly appeared as duty counsel for Pro Bono Ontario, and volunteers with the Legal Advice Hotline.
Margaret maintains a broad commercial litigation practice, with a particular focus on professional liability, class actions, and public law. Margaret has represented clients at trial and in regulatory proceedings before several administrative tribunals. Margaret brings thoughtful and careful consideration to every one of her cases, focusing on the root causes of legal issues. She understands what is important to our clients and she relies on her strong analytical skills and creative arguments to advance their interests in court. Prior to joining Lenczner Slaght, Margaret clerked for the Honourable Justice Mandamin of the Federal Court of Canada. During law school, Margaret participated in the Intensive Program in Indigenous Lands, Resources and Government.
Congratulations to Aoife and Margaret! They will play an important role in our firm’s future as new partners.
