Lenczner Slaght Congratulates New Partners Colin Johnston and Sarah Millar
Canada’s leading litigation firm is proud to welcome two of our exceptional lawyers, Colin Johnston and Sarah Millar, to the partnership. Both are committed to the same excellence in advocacy that has made us Canada’s leading litigation firm.
“I am very excited that Colin and Sarah will be joining our partnership,” says Monique Jilesen, Managing Partner of Lenczner Slaght. “They each have significant specialized areas of expertise and knowledge which provide the firm and our clients with a strategic advantage. They are vital to the success of our firm and our clients.”
Colin's litigation practice focuses on healthcare litigation and administrative law. He has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in Ontario and in hearings before various administrative tribunals. He is a trusted advisor on issues in healthcare law, including medical assistance in dying, mental health law, hospital governance, medical malpractice, and professional regulation. Clients value his strategic thinking and excellent judgment. Prior to joining Lenczner Slaght, Colin was counsel to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, where he appeared as lead counsel in numerous hearings before the College’s Discipline and Fitness to Practise Committees.
Sarah’s practice focuses exclusively on discovery. Sarah is an expert at managing large-scale discovery projects in commercial cases and multi-jurisdictional matters. She advises clients on document preservation, the identification of relevant data in clients’ records, the sound capture or collection of data, a litigant’s discovery obligations, the use of electronic evidence in proceedings and the law of privilege. Clients trust her to provide tailored advice on complex discovery issues and strategically design solutions that are legally defensible and cost-efficient.
Colin and Sarah will continue to contribute significantly to our firm’s success. Congratulations, Colin and Sarah!
