We are pleased to announce that Christopher Yung, Paul-Erik Veel, Andrew Parley, Anne Posno, Lidiya Yermakova, and Brendan Morrison will be serving prominent executive and committee positions at The Advocates’ Society, a preeminent organization dedicated to promoting effective advocacy and access to justice.
As experts in their respective fields, the following lawyers will serve on The Advocates’ Society’s Practice Groups:

Paul-Erik Veel joins the Leadership Committee of the Class Actions Practice Group as Secretary. Paul-Erik was previously a Member-at-Large. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing educational content, promoting programs, and supporting initiatives with respect to issues that affect members of the Group.
Andrew Parley continues his work on the Leadership Committee of the Construction Law Practice Group, advancing into the role of Vice-Chair this term. Together with the Chair, the Vice-Chair is responsible for planning and coordinating the activities of the Group, such as educational programming and networking events in support of its members.

We are also proud to see our expert litigators, Lidiya Yermakova and Brendan Morrison, volunteer their time on the following Committees:
Lidiya Yermakova was selected to volunteer for The Advocates’ Society’s Steering Committee on the Capital Markets Tribunal Litigation Assistance Program & Duty Counsel Program. As part of the program, Lidiya will provide assistance to self-represented parties who are involved in an enforcement proceeding or an application for review before the Capital Markets Tribunal.
Brendan Morrison continues to volunteer his time on the Mid-Career Advocates' Standing Committee (previously the 10+ Standing Committee). Brendan is a strong voice for mid-career advocates and will help the committee ensure that there are opportunities for networking and engagement for their members.
