Lenczner Slaght Welcomes David Salter

We are delighted to welcome David Salter to the firm. David maintains a broad civil litigation practice, specializing in cross-border and complex commercial litigation, appeals, administrative proceedings, and employment disputes. Acting for parties of all sizes, he has represented leading global financial institutions, manufacturers, telecommunications and transportation companies, as well as individual plaintiffs and defendants.

Prior to joining Lenczner Slaght, David practiced in the New York office of a top-tier international law firm for more than four years, where he was litigation counsel to American, Canadian, European, and Asian entities in a broad range of matters.
David obtained his law degree from the University of Toronto, where he graduated with honours. Prior to attending law school, David held a variety of positions in the Government of Ontario, including as senior advisor to the Minister of Energy and press secretary to the Minister of Infrastructure, Transportation, and Municipal Affairs and Housing. David also served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Reservist for nearly nine years.
