Lenczner Slaght Litigators Elected to The Advocates’ Society’s Leadership
We are pleased to announce that Sahar Talebi, Aoife Quinn, Aaron Grossman, Christopher Yung, Paul-Erik Veel, and Andrew Parley will be serving prominent leadership positions at The Advocates’ Society, a preeminent organization dedicated to promoting effective advocacy and access to justice.
Sahar Talebi was appointed to the Young Advocates Standing Committee (YASC). She will be a strong voice for young advocates, ensure their issues of concern are addressed within the profession, and help provide them with networking, mentorship, and volunteer opportunities – both within the Society and throughout the profession at large.
Aoife Quinn has been selected for the position of Member-at-Large on the Labour & Employment Practice Group. Aoife will be one of the three Members-at-Large responsible for working with the Leadership Committee to carry out the responsibilities and initiatives of the Group. As a leading expert in the area of employment litigation, Aoife will make significant contributions to The Advocates’ Society and its members.
Aaron Grossman has been selected for the position of Member-at-Large on the Construction Law Practice Group. Aaron will be one of the three Members-at-Large responsible for working with the Leadership Committee to carry out the responsibilities and initiatives of the Group. As a leading expert in Construction Law and in his new position, Aaron will continue to make significant contributions to The Advocates’ Society and its members.
Christopher Yung joins the Leadership Committee of the Securities Litigation Practice Group as Secretary. Christopher was previously a Member-at-Large and in his new role, he will be responsible for developing educational content, promoting programs, and supporting initiatives with respect to issues that affect members of the Group. As a recognized expert in Securities Litigation, Christopher will continue to make significant contributions to The Advocates’ Society and its members.
Paul-Erik Veel continues his work on the Leadership Committee of the Class Actions Practice Group, advancing into the role of Vice-Chair this term. Together with the Chair, the Vice-Chair is responsible for planning and coordinating the activities of the Group, such as educational programming and networking events in support of its members. As a leading expert in the area of Class Actions, Paul-Erik will continue to make significant contributions to The Advocates’ Society and its members.
Andrew Parley joins the Leadership Committee of the Construction Law Practice Group as Secretary. Andrew was previously a Member-at-Large and in his new role, he will be responsible for developing educational content, promoting programs, and supporting initiatives with respect to issues that affect members of the Group. As a leading expert litigator in Construction Law, Andrew will continue to make significant contributions to The Advocates’ Society and its members.
