With over 12 years of combined international experience working in the UK, UAE, and Canada, in sectors including legal, oil & gas, IT, and telecommunications, she is§ a highly driven, dynamic professional who will collaborate closely with our lawyers on complex legal matters, as well as our business functions on a variety of strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the LPM service offerings. Deena is cross-functional‡ and has led and negotiated a wide range of contracts and projects across various industries, for both public and private sector clients. .

Deena Barakat (she/her)

Deena Barakat is a Legal Project Manager at Lenczner Slaght.

Deena focuses on supporting our lawyers on complex legal matters and assisting in the expansion of the LPM service offering to enhance client service. With over a decade of experience spanning the UK, UAE, and Canada, Deena brings deep expertise in law, project management, and technology to drive operational efficiency and performance.

Prior to joining Lenczner Slaght, Deena held project management roles at various organizations, including leading national law firms in Canada. 

Deena earned her law degree in the UK, followed by a Masters (LL.M.) in International Business Law. She also holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management.
