Sarah Gupta (she/her)
is an associate at Lenczner Slaght.
Sarah’s practice includes a broad range of intellectual property litigation, with experience in the areas of trademark, copyright, and patent law.
Prior to joining Lenczner Slaght, Sarah summered and articled at a national intellectual property boutique and served as a law clerk to Justice Fothergill at the Federal Court of Canada.
Sarah completed her law degree at the University of Ottawa. While in law school, she researched copyright policy for Professor Michael Geist, served as a legal writing leader, and was a women’s legal mentor. Sarah was also an avid mooter, placing as a semi-finalist and winning a best factum award at the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot.
Before law school, Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) and Master of Science in Physiology and Pharmacology from Western University.
