Lenczner Slaght Welcomes Nine New Associates
Canada’s leading litigation firm continues to add to its collective experience and knowledge with the addition of nine exceptional associates.
Lenczner Slaght is delighted to welcome Militza Boljevic, Blerta Gjoci, Bonnie Greenaway, Alexa Jarvis, Evan Linn, Dan Malone, Robin Nyamekye, Mahgol Taghivand, and Solomiya Zakharchuk to the firm.

Militza Boljevic received her JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. At law school, Militza was awarded the Dean’s Leadership Award for her contributions to several clubs, including Women & the Law, Out in Law, the Litigation Association, and the Peer Mentorship Program. Militza summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght where she gained experience across a wide range of matters including commercial litigation, professional liability, employment disputes and investigations.
Blerta Gjoci completed her JD from Western Law. An avid mooter, Blerta participated in the Julius Alexander Isaac Moot team, where her team was awarded second place factum. Blerta summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght, where she gained experience in public law and professional liability matters, construction law, appeals, and complex commercial disputes.
Bonnie Greenaway maintains a broad litigation practice, with a focus on complex commercial disputes and professional negligence. Prior to joining the firm, Bonnie practiced at a national firm where she gained extensive experience litigating complex commercial disputes, professional negligence claims, and urgent proceedings for injunctive relief. She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario.
Alexa Jarvis’ litigation practice covers a wide range of areas, including commercial disputes, class actions, construction, criminal and quasi-criminal matters, and medical malpractice. Prior to joining the firm, Alexa practiced in the litigation and dispute resolution group of a national firm. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Divisional Court.
Evan Linn received his JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. While at law school, he was awarded prizes in administrative law, constitutional law, and legal theory, and participated in a legal clinic organized by the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights. Evan summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght where he gained diverse advocacy experience ranging from commercial disputes to public law matters.
Dan Malone completed his JD from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. In law school, Dan was involved in various moots and other competitions, including winning the Dentons Negotiation Competition in 2020. Dan summered at the firm, where he gained experience working on a wide variety of commercial, construction, and professional liability matters. He then completed his articles as a law clerk at the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
Robin Nyamekye received her JD from Osgoode Hall Law School. While at law school, she participated in an intensive program in poverty law at Parkdale Community Legal Services, where she represented clients with housing issues during the second wave of the pandemic. Robin summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght where she gained experience in a variety of disciplines, including construction, medical negligence, and professional liability matters.
Mahgol Taghivand completed her JD at Queen’s University. While in law school, Mahgol honed her advocacy skills through mooting competitions, representing clients as part of Queen’s Legal Aid, completing a summer internship at the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, and an internship at the Department of Justice. Mahgol summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght where she gained experience in a variety of areas including commercial disputes, civil matters, professional liability and regulation.
Solomiya Zakharchuk received her JD from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she was extensively involved in clinical programs and student life. During her time at law school, Solomiya co-founded the Ukrainian Law Students Association and the Securities Law Association, she was also the President of the Mooting Society and co-president of the Tax Law Association. Solomiya summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght where she gained experience in a variety of disciplines including commercial, regulatory, and securities matters.
