Dan Malone (he/him)
is an associate at Lenczner Slaght.
Dan represents clients in a wide range of commercial and regulatory disputes, including routinely acting on behalf of physicians in medical negligence and professional regulation matters. Dan has appeared before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court, and various administrative and arbitration tribunals.
Prior to joining Lenczner Slaght, Dan served as a judicial law clerk to the justices of the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
Dan graduated summa cum laude from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, where he won prizes in constitutional, international, and insurance law, while competing internationally in the Jessup and Vis moots and working on the Ottawa Law Review.
Before his law career, Dan received a Bachelor of Journalism (Honours) degree from the University of King’s College in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and worked as a newspaper reporter and editor.
