About

Alex* is an articling student at Lenczner Slaght. Prior to law school, Alex attended McMaster University obtaining a degree in Arts and Science with a combination in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour. Through her interdisciplinary education, Alex developed a holistic approach to addressing issues. In turn, she sees§ the value in considering multiple perspectives to arrive at the best outcome. This emphasis on critical thinking ultimately prompted Alex to pursue a law degree at the University of Windsor. While Alex continues to gain significant experience at Windsor's Legal Clinic, she first began developing her oral advocacy skills while working with youth diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. Because of this work, Alex understands the importance of anticipating the needs of others, effectively responding to problems, and remaining two steps ahead. This flexibility and open-mindedness has helped her find the path forward in any situation. No matter the challenges ahead, Alex is confident she can always find a way to overcome obstacles, even if this means disrupting and re-imagining the status-quo. .

Alex Tuccillo (she/her)

is an articling student at Lenczner Slaght.

Alex recently completed her law degree at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. Although Alex has a diverse set of interests and a continuous curiosity, one thing that has remained consistent during her time at law school has been her passion for oral advocacy. Alex has worked at and volunteered with Legal Assistance of Windsor where she has had the privilege to serve a clientele with complex and multi-faceted needs. This experience representing clients in front of various tribunals solidified her interest in litigation and encouraged her to participate in the Walsh Family Moot.  

Prior to law school, Alex worked extensively with youth diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), a role which emphasized how integral access to justice is to competent oral advocacy and the legal field. She also has an Honours Degree in Arts and Science with a combination in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour from McMaster University.
