Lauren* is the Director of Legal Talent at Lenczner Slaght. She is responsible for leading the firm’s legal talent team and strategy as well as providing talent services to Lenczner Slaght’s lawyers. In her role, she empowers lawyers to§ think critically about their career development in order to grow into leading litigators and meaningful contributors to the firm and its clients. In managing all aspects of the firm’s talent program, Lauren is focused on ensuring that Lenczner Slaght’s associates and partners succeed along a development path that is both cutting-edge and fulfilling. Lauren understands that promoting defined career direction and evolution helps our lawyers grow as passionate and dedicated advisors to our clients. .

Lauren Sigal (she/her)

is the Director of Legal Talent at Lenczner Slaght.

Lauren is responsible for leading the firm’s talent team and strategy. Her role includes the management of all aspects of the talent program, including performance management, career development, mentorship, retention, and lateral recruitment. Lauren is also involved in other important firm initiatives relating to diversity and inclusion, engagement, training, and, across all initiatives and services, she works closely with firm leaders to align talent growth and development with the firm’s broader strategic goals and objectives.

Prior to joining Lenczner Slaght, Lauren worked in talent advisory at a leading national law firm in Canada. She is also an experienced lawyer, having previously practiced commercial litigation, with a specialization in restructuring and insolvency, for almost a decade at a law firm in Toronto.
