Joudy* is an articling student at Lenczner Slaght and a graduate of the JD program at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. Joudy seizes the§ opportunity to practice and sharpen her advocacy skills any chance she gets. As a student, Joudy honed her written and spoken advocacy working with clients as a caseworker at Windsor’s Class Action Clinic and by participating in a range of moots. No matter her role, Joudy sees complex litigation as an opportunity to solve problems. She is also excited to draw from her previous career experience in technology and social innovation to enhance her advocacy. .

Details

Joudy Sarraj (she/her)

is an articling student at Lenczner Slaght.

Joudy graduated from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law where she was involved in the mooting and advocacy program. In addition to participating in the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot, she was awarded the Joan L. Lax Memorial Award for top oralist at the Winkler Class Actions Moot, and the honorable mention oralist award at the University of Windsor’s Zuber Moot.

Joudy honed her research and writing skills as a Senior Editor of the Law Review (WRLSI) and as a Research Assistant at the Law and Technology Lab. She was also a caseworker at the Class Action Clinic and was selected to participate in the Advanced Business Law Seminar.

Joudy holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Ethics, Society and Law at the University of Toronto. Prior to law school, she worked in social innovation as a Program Analyst at Grand Challenges Canada.
