23 Lenczner Slaght Lawyers Ranked Among the Best

Nearly half of the firm's 49 lawyers are ranked as leading practitioners and two named "Lawyer of the Year" in the latest Best Lawyers in Canada Directory.

The recently published 2015 Best Lawyers in Canada annual guide has recognized 23 lawyers from Lenczner Slaght, the country's leading litigation practice. Of those ranked, 11 lawyers increased their preceding recognition to include additional practice areas. In addition to the firm's ranking, Ronald G. Slaght is named "Lawyer of the Year" for leadership in his Appellate Practice while Tom Curry is recognized as "Lawyer of the Year" in the area of Health Care Law.

The Best Lawyers in Canada rankings are arrived at through peer review and consultation with an international Advisory Board. "The increasing recognition of the firm's lawyers is a reflection of both the talent we attract and the mentoring and training that is at the heart of our practice" said Peter Griffin, managing partner of Lenczner Slaght. "The number of lawyers who have increased their recognized practice areas in the last year is a measure of the firm's continued commitment to the development of its lawyers."
