Keely Kinley (she/her)
is an associate at Lenczner Slaght.
Keely summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght, where she gained experience in public law and professional liability matters, class actions, appeals, and complex commercial disputes.
Keely recently completed her JD at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. As a law student, she was a Research Assistant and led a student working group at the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights. She was also on the Senior Board of the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law Review and an active participant in the Faculty’s mooting program. She won Best Respondent at the Callaghan Memorial Moot in 2020 and served as a Co-Chief Justice of the Callaghan the following year. She enjoyed coaching and mentoring mooters in the Hamish Stewart Cup in her last two years of school.
Before law school, Keely studied at McGill University, where she was a Student Fellow of the Yan P. Lin Centre’s Research Group on Constitutional Studies. She also lived in Prague, Czech Republic, where she taught outdoor education and interned at a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the rule of law in Central and Eastern Europe.
