As a former law clerk of the Divisional Court and Superior Court of Justice, Greg understands what makes for great advocacy and has insight into judicial decision-making at both the trial and appellate levels. Gregory Pike (he/him)

is an associate at Lenczner Slaght.

Greg is developing a broad litigation practice in the areas of professional liability, public law, defamation, and appeals. Prior to joining the firm, he completed his articles as a judicial law clerk at the Divisional Court and Superior Court of Justice in Toronto, assisting judges with statutory appeals, applications for judicial review, and a variety of civil and criminal law matters. Before clerking, Greg summered at the Ministry of the Attorney General, Civil Law Division.

Greg graduated from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. During law school, he served in various positions with the Queen’s Law Journal, including as a Senior Editor in his final year. He also worked as a student caseworker at the Queen’s Legal Aid Clinic, assisting clients with disability claims, landlord-tenant disputes, and charges under the Provincial Offences Act and Criminal Code. In all three years of his studies, Greg also worked as a research assistant for various professors at Queen’s.
