Christina A. Papageorgakopoulos (she/her)
is an associate at Lenczner Slaght.
Christina summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght, where she gained experience in complex commercial disputes, professional liability and regulation, real estate, and employment law. As an articling student, she supported several matters, including an injunction and a month-long trial. Christina continues to develop a broad litigation practice.
Before joining the firm, Christina completed her JD at Queen’s University Faculty of Law. As an upper year student, she served as a student caseworker at the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic, working with inmates in preparation for appearances in Disciplinary Court for charges under the Corrections and Conditional Release Act. Christina worked on several matters including a Coroner’s Inquest and an intervention at the Supreme Court of Canada. She also volunteered her time to Pro Bono Students Canada and was awarded the Chief Justice Richard Wagner Award for outstanding leadership in 2023. Recognized for both her academic and community achievements in law school, Christina was awarded Course Prizes in Armed Conflict and Introduction to International Law and Institutions, as well as the Denis Marshall Contribution Award for commitment to the life of the Queen’s Faculty of Law.
Prior to attending Queen’s University, Christina completed her Bachelor of Arts at McGill University. Her research focused on the history of global conflict and nation-building after the First World War.

The Court of Appeal for Ontario (“ONCA”) will hear the appeal of Dufault v The Corporation of the Township of Ignace (“Dufault”) this Friday.
