Lenczner Slaght Ranked Among the Best

Almost half of the leading litigation firm’s lawyers are recognized in the Best Lawyers in Canada.

Lenczner Slaght is proud to announce that 23 of the firm’s 51 lawyers have been recognized in the Best Lawyers in Canada 2018 publication in multiple categories.

Paul-Erik Veel, Matthew B. Lerner and Sana Halwani all make their first appearance, while 12 of the firm’s lawyers have been ranked for five years, and six lawyers have been ranked since the inaugural edition in 2006.

In addition, we are delighted that Mark Veneziano is named “Lawyer of the Year” in Health Care Law, and Risa M. Kirshblum is named “Lawyer of the Year” in Medical Negligence. Both were recognized for having the highest overall peer-feedback in their practice areas in Toronto.

Rankings for the Best Lawyers in Canada guide are chosen through peer review by other leading lawyers in the area, along with an international Board of Advisors. Congratulations to all who are ranked!

About Best Lawyers in Canada
Best Lawyers in Canada has conducted peer reviews of Canadian lawyers for 10 years, publishing the first edition of its directory in 2006. Peers are asked to rate nominees on how likely they would be to refer a matter to the nominee if they were unable to handle the matter themselves. Its international Board of Advisors also contributes to its understanding of the legal landscape.
