Nik* is an associate at Lenczner Slaght with a developing litigation practice. Prior to joining the firm, Nik refined his analytical and legal writing skills as a clerk for Justice Abella at the Supreme Court of Canada. No matter the complexity of the problem at hand, he remains§prepared to adapt. Fluent in both English and French and having practiced both in civil and the common law, Nik is equipped to deal with a broad range of complex issues. He imagines creative solutions to difficult problems. Even when the stakes are high, he instils his clients with a sense of calm thanks to his versatility and confidence. .

Nikolas De Stefano (he/him)

is an associate at Lenczner Slaght.

Nikolas’ developing litigation practice covers a broad range of areas including commercial disputes, professional liability and regulation, civil matters, public law and class actions.

Prior to joining the firm, Nikolas worked as an associate at a leading litigation boutique in Montreal. Before that, he served as a judicial law clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada for Justice Rosalie Abella where he assisted her with appeals on a variety of civil, criminal and public law matters.

Nikolas received a dual bachelors of law from McGill University. In law school, Nikolas excelled academically, graduating on the Dean’s list and winning a number of academic prizes throughout his studies. He also worked as a research assistant and volunteered at the faculty’s legal clinic where he provided legal information to the public and represented students accused of various disciplinary and academic offences.
