Cat is developing a broad litigation practice that includes professional liability matters and commercial disputes. She summered and articled at the firm, where she gained experience in class actions, professional liability, and intellectual property disputes.

Cat graduated from Queen's Law. During law school, Cat was recognized for academic excellence, earning the course prize in Civil Procedure and being named to the Dean's List in every year of study. She also acted as a student clerk for the justices of the Kingston Superior Court of Justice and participated extensively in the school's mooting program. Her interest in expanding access to justice led her to volunteer with the Conflict Analytics Lab, where she helped develop Artificial Intelligence based legal technology, as well as with Queen’s Legal Aid, providing legal services to those in need.

Prior to law school, Cat completed her Bachelor's degree in Genetics. Her undergraduate research focused on developing methods to improve patient outcomes following cardiac surgery.
