Catherine* is a summer student at Lenczner Slaght. As a student at Queen’s Law, Catherine is extensively involved in the mooting program and recently represented the school as an oralist at the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot. When confronted with a problem, Catherine is a natural§ innovator. Drawing from her background in genetics and her passion for the law, Catherine solves complex legal problems by bringing a unique perspective to her approach. She comprehensively analyzes any problem with poise and precision to create an effective solution, establishing herself as a resolute advocate , in any situation. For example, while in law school, Catherine helped ratify and bring back the Queen's Law Tortfeasors Rugby Club and acted as the club’s Co-Vice President. .

Catherine Blair (she/her)

is a summer student at Lenczner Slaght.

Catherine is completing her JD at Queen’s University. At Queen’s Law, Catherine has been involved with the Conflict Analytics Lab, where she assisted in developing Artificial Intelligence-based legal technology to improve access to justice. Catherine also volunteered with Queen’s Legal Aid to provide legal services to those in need. This year, she represented Queen’s Law at the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot and was selected to participate in the school’s Grand Moot in September 2024. 

Prior to attending law school, Catherine completed her Bachelor’s degree in Genetics. During her undergraduate studies, Catherine was a member of Western University’s Varsity Wrestling team and worked as a research assistant in a surgical laboratory that developed cutting-edge methods to improve patient outcomes following cardiac procedures.
